Dad was Education Specialist in Afghanistan and Mom is a housewife. She is taking English classes. They are in urgent need of household items, including baby items.

Elena, their 7 year old, says the thing she is most thankful for in life is her ability to go to school. She also recently celebrated her birthday in December and was happy to invite new friends to celebrate with her, as birthday parties are what makes her heart sing!

Their family resettled in El Cajon, and Horeen can't wait to spend special days exploring California with her family! She love to draw and write, and is excited to decorate her new room.
Welcome Masa Ebrahimkhil and her family! Masa, age 6, recently arrived from Afghanistan with her Mom, Dad, and younger sister and brother. She and her family resettled in the Sacramento area, and are settling into their new neighborhood. Masa says that she is looking forward to making new friends at school, but that she also wants to study hard so she can become an engineer. Her big dream is to help humanity someday.

They resettled in Sacramento, California, and are getting to know their new community. When we interviewed their middle son, he said that one of his favorite activities is "exploring numbers, like figuring out big calculations and imagining the vast size of the universe." Recently arriving from Afghanistan, they've begun to settle into their new home in California, and are looking forward to making their home warm and cozy. They are all in need of beds and bedding, and also in need of a car seat and booster seat for their two youngest kids.
