On the eve of the Summer Solstice, HRTS Associates LA will host their first annual gathering of members, guests and supporters to toast the new season, their new board and to spotlight the topic most top-of-mind among members this year: the migrant and refugee experience.

Schedule:

6:15pm: Doors Open/Check-In, Start of Auction Item Viewing & Bidding

7:00pm: Opening Remarks / Introduction of the Newly-Elected 2019-2020 HRTS Associates LA Board

7:15-7:45pm: Timed to World Refugee Day, the Soirée Kicks Off With Panel Collaboration with Amnesty International

Sanctuary in Storytelling A deep look into the importance of inclusion of the migrant and refugee experience onscreen, featuring a panel discussion among creators, producers, and experts who have used narrative to shape public opinion of marginalized groups.

7:45-10:00 pm Casino Games, Reception, Silent Auction: Evening festivities highlighted by hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, casino games, raffle and silent auction benefiting Miry's List. While this event is designed to convene and celebrate HRTS Associates, a select number of tickets will be available for HRTS Executive Members who wish to join in toasting the next generation of entertainment industry leaders.

ABOUT Miry's List: LA-based nonprofit that connects newly arrived refugee families in the U.S. to the people, products, and services they need to begin their new lives. Most arrive to their new (often barely furnished) homes with very little in the way of belongings, sometimes lacking even the most essential day-to-day items, whether baby diapers, cleaning products, or basic toiletries. Their mission is to not only welcome those seeking a safe haven from violence and persecution, but to help them thrive in their new communities.

Member Guest Ticket (up to 1 ticket): $50**

**Required: Member or New Member ticket must be purchased.

New Membership + Ticket (for new members only): $200**

(New Member ticket: Includes a 1yr. HRTS Associate membership ($125 value) which gives you access to attend all panel programs, mixers and events)
