Then, enjoy wine and an elaborate Syrian dinner infused with the symbols of Passover and prepared by a family who recently resettled in LA. Finally, listen as Evan Kleiman (KCRW’s Good Food) moderates a discussion with the chefs about their arrival stories.

Civic Life for All Angelenos: Spotlighting the Immigrant and Formerly Incarcerated Experience Our goal with this convening is to illuminate these nuances, learn what is common to all of us, and have a conversation about our collective civic life.

Get educated and empowered to help! Miry’s List is partnering with the Social Innovation Program at Sequoyah High School to help develop students’ empathy and desire to be thoughtful, effective changemakers.

Make art, spread peace. Our free annual family festival fills the museum with art, music, performances, and more. Note that the galleries will be closed, but there will be several outdoor works on view.

We’re partnering with Kitchen Table App for this intimate cooking class where participants will get to learn tradition Syrian dishes, meet a new arrival neighbor, and learn about how we can make Los Angeles the most welcoming city in the country!
